The 1982 CJ-7 included the Jamboree Commemorative Edition, with only 630 units produced, 560 in Topaz Gold Metallic and 70 in Olympic White, the rarest CJ-7 ever built and the most heavily optioned CJ, with each unit numbered by a dash plaque. The 1982 and 1983 Limited was a luxury model with 2,500 units built. Wide track axles came into use for 1982, and the diesel export model ended that year, so the CJ-7 of 1982 was at its most varied.
