1952 Hudson Commodore

Automobiles

In 1952, its last model year, the Commodore was divided into a Six Series and an Eight Series, each offered in four body styles: a two door club coupe, a four door sedan, a convertible Brougham and a two door Hollywood hardtop. Hudson lacked the money to keep restyling its aging step down cars against rivals' annual redesigns with tailfins and chrome, and its president chose to put the effort into the Jet compact car instead.
