Honda City (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation, designated GA1, took over from the original AA series of the City in November 1986, and an update in 1989 brought the GA2; Honda produced this model until 1994. On 31 October 1986 it was introduced in Japan with the slogan City of Talent, at the Honda Clio dealerships, and its low and wide Crouching form styling reflected a shared appearance with the first generation Honda Today, the third generation Civic and the third generation Accord AeroDeck. The Honda D series engine was introduced in the form of the 1.2 liter D12A, and the Fit name first appeared as a trim variant of this generation. It was discontinued in 1995. Each model year has its own page.
