Honda launched the City Turbo II in October 1983, with front fenders 30 mm wider and rear fenders 20 mm wider. Technically, the engine used was the same as the previous City Turbo, but the power output was 110 PS. People called the City Turbo II the Bulldog because of its extra width. A Cabriolet drop top styled by Pininfarina used the wider fenders and larger bumpers of the Turbo II Bulldog but came only with the naturally aspirated 67 PS engine.
