The SB Barina was released in April 1994 and was offered as a three or five door hatchback, the first Barina sourced from Opel in Spain, replacing the Suzuki based car. The GSi model with a 1.6 liter engine was sold in 1994 and 1995. It was the Holden version of the Opel Corsa B. The 1994 Barina was the third generation, offered with 1.2 and 1.4 liter engines, a GSi and a Spanish built body in three or five door form.
