The Barina was given a facelift in November 2016, with design updates given to the interior and exterior, and the RS and Sedan models were dropped as part of the facelift. In 2015 a limited run Barina X was introduced, based on the CD base model, and only 700 of them were produced for the Australian market. The 2016 Barina was the facelifted TM, with updated looks, after a limited Barina X run of 700 cars in 2015.
