The Toyota iQ is a city car that Toyota marketed in a single generation, in Japan from 2008 to 2016, in Europe from 2008 to 2015 and in North America from 2012 to 2015, where it was sold as the Scion iQ. It was designed at the Toyota European Design and Development studio in Nice, France, and noted for packaging that maximized passenger space in a very short body. A rebadged version was sold in Europe as the Aston Martin Cygnet from 2011 to 2013, and an electric version appeared as the Toyota eQ and Scion iQ EV in very limited numbers.
