2009 Toyota Matrix

Automobiles

The 2009 Matrix was the first of the second generation, unveiled at the SEMA show on 31 October 2007. In the United States it came in Standard, S and XRS trims, with a 1.8 liter or a 2.4 liter four, and it was sold in Mexico for the first time. Its interior space was less than before, at 48.9 cubic feet against 53.2. This was the first model year of the Toyota Matrix (second generation, E140), 2009 to 2014, which took over from the Toyota Matrix (first generation, E130); the 2010 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Matrix run from 2003 to 2014.
