2003 Toyota Prius

Automobiles

The second generation was shown at the New York show in April 2003 as a 2004 model, a complete redesign into a compact liftback. Production of the NHW20 began in August 2003 at the Tsutsumi plant, while the NHW11 had ended in June after 33,411 cars. This was the first model year of the Toyota Prius (second generation, XW20), 2003 to 2008, which took over from the Toyota Prius (first generation, XW10); the 2004 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Prius run from 1997 to 2025.
