Ford revealed the 2027 Super Duty Carhartt Edition on 7 May 2026 with orders starting in the fall, a package only on the XLT with four wheel drive and the six and three quarter foot bed. The 2026 Super Duty was still the fifth generation, built in Kentucky and Ohio. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake.
