For 2024 the 6.8 litre V8 of the Super Duty gained flex fuel capability and was offered on F 250 and F 350 pickups in the XLT trim. The Sport Appearance package was replaced by the Black Appearance package, and the Limited trim was replaced by the Platinum Plus package, as on the F 150. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake.
