2011 Ford Ikon

Automobiles

The first generation Ikon was retired from production in early 2011 after the sixth generation Fiesta reached India, and the Fiesta Classic took its place. The Ikon Hatch was released in Mexico a year after the second facelifted sedan, with a different front end, imported from India. Ford sold the same basic design under the Fiesta and Ikon names depending on the country. The Ikon was a small Ford sedan built on the Fiesta platform for markets where buyers wanted a sedan, such as India and South Africa.
