1975 Ford Granada (Europe)

Automobiles

In 1975 the 2.5 liter V6 version of the Granada was discontinued because the six cylinder Cortina had grown in sales, and from 1975 all of the cars were called Granadas, after Ford failed in an appeal against an injunction. The Mark I thus carried a single name across Europe. It continued as a saloon, estate and coupe built at Cologne and Dagenham. The Granada had been introduced in South Africa in late 1972 and was sold there in several trims.
