The 2012 Ford Galaxy was reviewed by What Car? and given four stars out of five, with the magazine adding that it was more fun to drive than most multi purpose vehicles. It was the family car of the television comedy series Outnumbered, replacing the Vauxhall Zafira of the earlier series. The Galaxy was a seven seat people carrier that Ford built for the European market, sharing its platform with the Mondeo in its later forms.
