1997 Ford Falcon (Australia)

Automobiles

With the EL there was a revision again to the engine, with the distributor refitted and the coil pack ignition removed, though power remained at 157 kilowatts at 4900 rpm. The final drive ratio went down from 3.23 to 3.08. With the exception of the GLi the entire EL range was fitted with Bosch 5.3 ABS brakes and an advanced window film known as Smart Tint. Ford released their final Falcon panel van in 1997 as part of the revised XH II series.
