Along with the traditional separate Flareside beds Ford sold the integrated pickup, with the cab and the bed forming one continuous piece with no gap between them. The design needed fewer stampings, so that the back of the cab served as the leading edge of the bed. In Argentina, production moved in 1962 from the old La Boca plant to General Pacheco. The 1961 to 1964 models have their turn signals in the grille.
