For the 2010 model year optional packages were renamed to Rapid Specification Order Codes, with 100S for XLT, 200S for Eddie Bauer, 300S for Limited and 400S for King Ranch, and Ford announced that the 2010 models would feature MyKey and trailer sway control as standard on all trims. The 2010 models were ranked sixth among the top eleven affordable large SUVs, and a diesel version never got past the planning stage. As of 2010 over 1,545,241 Expeditions had been sold.
