In 2021 the E Series became the second active Ford model line after the F Series to reach sixty years of continuous production, though 2020 had been skipped. For 2021 its interior was redesigned with an electronic instrument cluster, and all models used the 7.3 litre Godzilla V8. It was the best selling full size van in the United States from 1980 until the Transit replaced the vans in 2014. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis.
