2017 Ford E-Series

Automobiles

Starting with the 2017 model year the 6.8 litre V10 replaced the 5.4 litre V8 as the standard engine of the E Series, with a 6.2 litre Boss V8 as the optional engine. Both engines were flex fuel and could be converted to run on compressed natural gas or propane. It was the best selling full size van in the United States from 1980 until the Transit replaced the vans in 2014. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis.
