1969 Ford Bronco

Automobiles

In 1969 the Stroppe, Holman and Moody team entered six Broncos again in the Baja 1000 off road race, having first run Broncos in long distance off road competition in 1965 in the Mint 400, the Baja 500 and the Mexican 1000. The 289 V8 was enlarged for the 1969 model year. The Bronco in 1969 was available as a wagon and half cab pickup, as the roadster had gone the year before. The Bronco's front axle was still the Dana 30 that was fitted until 1971.
