1996 Eagle Summit

Automobiles

The Summit entered its final model year in 1996 with only new paint colors and seat fabrics, and the line ended that year together with the Mirage generation it was based on, after eight model years in two generations on sale at Jeep and Eagle dealers. With the Neon sold through Dodge and Plymouth and no Eagle version planned, and the Summit's Mitsubishi heritage, the Eagle line had little left to sell.
