1969 Dodge Monaco

Automobiles

Chrysler's new fuselage styling reached the 1969 Monaco, melding the upper and lower body into one curved unit with curved side glass and a nearly straight across front bumper. The wheelbase grew by an inch to 122, and a 383 cubic inch V8 was standard with a 440 Magnum available. A 50 dollar option offered the Super Lite, an early projector style auxiliary lamp. Monaco output was 38,566 of the 127,252 full size Dodges built, down from 1968.
