Changes for 1972 included a revised grille without the central divider of the 1970 and 1971 cars. The Demon, essentially a Duster with Dart front sheet metal, sold in substantially smaller numbers than the Duster, which is reflected in higher collector values, especially for V8 models. The Swinger 340 also continued, and the 340 four barrel V8 with 275 horsepower was available only in the Swinger and the GTS from 1968 to 1972.
