The first Ford Puma was a small three door coupe with four seats, made by Ford of Europe from June 1997 and based on the Mark IV Ford Fiesta. It was built at Ford's Niehl plant in Cologne, Germany, in the New Edge family of vehicles, with new engines co developed with Yamaha, and about 133,000 Pumas were built including the Ford Racing Puma. The name was revived in 2019 for a crossover. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1997 to 2002).
