Continental Mark II (single generation)

Automobiles

The Mark II had a single generation, developed by a Special Products Division led by William Clay Ford, made its debut at the Paris show in October 1955, and was offered only as a two door hardtop with a Lincoln V8, assembled largely by hand at Allen Park in Michigan. It introduced the Continental spare tire trunk lid. Its model years run from 1956 to 1957. The Continental Mark II was a hand assembled luxury coupe built by Ford at Allen Park in Michigan in small numbers.
