1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Minor trim changes were made to the 1979 Monte Carlo, including a restyled grille, revised parking lamp detail and new wrap around taillamps. The same transmissions were carried over from 1978, which meant a standard three speed manual, an optional four speed manual or an optional three speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic. The 1979 car was the second year of the downsized third generation on the A body platform.
