2024 Chevrolet Malibu

Automobiles

In November 2024 Chevrolet ended production of the Malibu in North America, without a replacement for the market. The Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City, where the Malibu was built, was being retooled to build the Ultium based second generation Chevrolet Bolt, while production of the Cadillac XT4 there ended in January 2025. The nameplate had been used by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and from 1997 to 2025.
