For 1973 General Motors' line of full size trucks was redesigned and updated. Internally the generation was named the Rounded Line, while the public nickname was square body. Although rear wheel drive Blazers were manufactured until 1982, the majority sold were four wheel drive. The smaller S-10 Blazer debuted in 1983, and General Motors began addressing the larger models as the Chevrolet Full Size Blazer. Its model years run from 1973 to 1991.
