The 2021 Corvette began production on December 8, 2020, late because the 2020 run was extended, and suffered parts shortages. Magnetic Ride could be ordered separately from the Z51 package, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became standard, and the base price rose by 1,000 dollars to 60,995 dollars for orders after March 1, 2021. Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat and Blade Silver Metallic were retired, the Z51 package price rose from 5,000 to 5,995 dollars, and parts constraints caused production issues.
