The 2018 model year began production on June 5, 2017, was suspended in July for a new paint facility and a new assembly line for the 2019 ZR1, resumed on November 6 and ended on January 26, 2018. The Stingray, Grand Sport and Z06 continued, and the Carbon 65 Edition, limited to 650 cars worldwide, marked the 65th anniversary. The Carbon 65 Edition was painted exclusively in Ceramic Matrix Gray, and the plant added a new assembly line during the shutdown for the 2019 ZR1.
