Adaptive Remote Start was added as a new option for the 2009 model year, the last of the first generation SRX, which was available through the 2009 model year. The third row was no longer available for the 2010 model year on the SRX. The first generation was a Cadillac luxury crossover, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated it poorly for driver fatalities.
