The Seville Touring Sedan was Motor Trend magazine's Car of the Year for 1992, and also made Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list that year. The Seville STS adopted styling cues from the 1988 Cadillac Voyage concept car, and zero to 60 miles per hour times were 7.4 seconds for the SLS and 6.9 seconds for the STS. Rain sensing wipers, called RainSense, were standard on the STS. The redesigned car used the 4.9 liter V8 at first.
