The exterior of the 2000 DeVille was redesigned, achieving a more aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.30, and the revised interior featured new door panels and seats, with standard seat mounted front side airbags. The DeVille DHS name replaced the d'Elegance trim level, and the performance DeVille Concours was renamed the Deville DTS, which was newly available with stability control and onboard navigation. Cadillac offered Night Vision, a worldwide first in series production, discontinued in 2004.
