For 1993 the Regal sedan received a minor facelift with a new hood and larger grille more reminiscent of the larger Buick models, as well as larger taillights. In mid 1990 the Regal had gained the option of the Buick 3.8 liter V6 with Tuned Port Injection, and anti lock brakes were made standard on all but the base Custom cars from 1992, on the W platform sedan and coupe. The 1993 Regal sedan was in its third model year.
