The BMW M2 CS, a more track focused version of the BMW M2 Competition, was unveiled online in November 2019 prior to its introduction at the LA Auto Show. The M2 Competition of 2019 was delivered from early 2019, a more powerful variant of the F87, which was the first generation of the M2, available as a rear wheel drive coupe. The Competition had replaced the standard M2 coupe as a more powerful variant. The CS was track focused.
