The BMW iX was released in January 2025 as a 2026 model, with BMW introducing a facelifted iX for the 2026 model year with improved range, power and efficiency, as well as minor styling adjustments. The facelifted iX continued to be built at the Dingolfing plant, and the car was now in its fifth year after the launch of sales in November 2021. The facelifted car was sold as the iX xDrive45, xDrive60 and M70.
