The G70 is the seventh generation 7 Series, a full size luxury flagship that BMW unveiled on 20 April 2022 during the 45th anniversary of the nameplate, with split headlights shared with the X7 facelift and an electric version, the i7. Production began on 1 July 2022 at Dingolfing, exactly seven years after the previous model, and an armoured G73 followed in 2023. A facelift was unveiled in April 2026. Its model years run from 2022 to 2026.
