The 740d xDrive was introduced in September 2010, and the 740i and 740Li became available in the United States, the first six cylinder 7 Series to be sold there since 1992. The ActiveHybrid 7 was shown again at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2010, and the F01 range extended to several engine and drive variants. The F01 had been in production since 2008, and the ActiveHybrid 7 version based on it was in production from 2010 to 2015.
