1989 BMW 6 Series

Automobiles

E24 production ended in April 1989, after 86,216 cars had been built since 1976, and the 6 Series was supplanted by the larger 8 Series. The nameplate would then lie unused for fourteen or fifteen years until it came back with the E63 in 2003. The final M635CSi and M6 cars were produced during 1989. Over its production run from 1983 through 1989, the M635CSi and M6 totalled 5,855 cars, 524 of them with right hand drive for the United Kingdom.
