In 2024 the G20 continued as BMW's compact executive saloon in its facelift form, sold in Baseline Sport, M Sport and M Sport Pro trims, with the plug in hybrid and mild hybrid models alongside the six cylinder M340i. The car had by now been on sale for more than five years and was one of the longest running 3 Series generations in terms of model cycle. The 330e plug in hybrid and M340i xDrive formed the core of the line.
