1929 Austin Twenty

Automobiles

The year 1929 was the last of full production of the original four cylinder car, then called the 20/4, as the 20/6 took over. Refinements reported for the 1929 Motor Show included chromium plated exterior fittings, Triplex glass, improved dome type front mudguards and new gas and ignition controls. The Twenty had by then been in production for ten years. The 20/6 was by then about to become the main car.
