The Twenty ended its production in 1930, eleven years after it was introduced in April 1919 as the single model of Austin's post war policy. The six cylinder 20/6 had by then replaced it, and the final inter war car of the line was the side valve Twenty-Eight of 1939. After the Second World War the Sheerline and the Princess were to continue the line. The 1930 car was the last Twenty of either engine type.
