1935 Austin Sixteen

Automobiles

Further upgrades were made in 1935. The body range was simplified and had only the five and seven seat saloons, and the most obvious external change was the radiator surround painted in the colour of the body in place of chrome plating. A small external boot containing the spare wheel was added at the rear, synchromesh came to second gear, and the larger engine was modified to have four rather than eight main bearings.
