1966 Austin Mini

Automobiles

In 1966 the Mini remained in production as the Mark I, built by the British Motor Corporation, which in 1966 became part of British Motor Holdings. The Austin Mini was a two door four seat small car with Hydrolastic suspension, sold alongside the Morris Mini-Minor and the more luxurious Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf. The Mark II was due at the following year's British Motor Show. It was the last full year before the Mark II appeared with its new grille.
