The 2010 ZDX debuted at the New York show on April 8, 2009 and began sales that winter. It was the first car designed entirely at Acura's Southern California studio in Torrance, and its designer, Michelle Christensen, called it a four-door luxury sports coupe. It had a 300 horsepower 3.7 litre V6, Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, a six-speed automatic, 19 inch wheels, a panoramic glass roof and a power tailgate, with Technology and Advance packages.
