For 2007 the RL came in three trims: a base package, a newly defined Technology Package, and a top Technology Package with CMBS and PAX. The base car omitted the navigation system and Adaptive Front Lighting and substituted simulated wood for the maple dashboard trim, while the Technology cars added a rear backup camera and a stereo input jack. OnStar was deleted from every trim level. The Technology car with CMBS and PAX had no equivalent in 2005, though it resembled the 2006 Technology Package.
