Acura introduced the refreshed 2016 RDX at the Chicago show in 2015, with sales from mid-April. A slightly stronger 3.5 litre V6 made 279 horsepower. LED headlamps and tail lights were new, AcuraWatch driver aids including adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist were added, and the all-wheel-drive system could now send up to half the torque to the rear wheels on wet surfaces, double the 25 percent of the earlier model.
