Acura RDX (first generation)

Automobiles

The first-generation RDX was previewed as the RD-X concept, shown at the 2006 New York show and on sale on 11 August 2006 as a 2007 model. It was a rare four-cylinder luxury SUV, with a 2.3 litre turbocharged engine of 240 horsepower, a variable flow turbocharger to cut lag, SH-AWD and a five-speed automatic with paddle shifters. A facelift went on sale in August 2009 for 2010 with Acura's Power Plenum grille and a front-wheel-drive option.
