In 2010 the MDX received a facelift that adopted Acura's Power Plenum grille. The most important upgrades were a new paddle-shift six-speed automatic with downshift rev-matching, and a higher compression ratio of 11.2 to 1 with forged aluminum pistons. Structural rigidity was improved. An Advance package became available with adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitor, collision mitigation braking and ventilated Milano leather seats.
