In 2024 the Integra Type S, the high-performance version, drew several honors, appearing on the Car and Driver 10Best list and being named a performance car of the year in its price class by Road and Track. The liftback shares the platform of the eleventh-generation Civic and replaced the ILX sedan, and in China the name was used on a restyled Civic sedan and a hatchback. The Type S performance version raised the car's profile, and its arrival gave the Integra a flagship to sit above the standard car.
